We have some BIG News. As of August 11, we are closing the Tap Room.
I know. It’s not the update we wanted to send.
We thought the Coshocton (and Coshocton County) market would support the Tap Room. But unfortunately, it has not. It's not personal. It's just math. Each weekend we open up and hope "this weekend will be different." But remember, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
So we have to reconsider how we go to market. We are going to pivot. What does that mean?
It means we are closing the Tap Room, but we are not closing the business.
Over the past couple of years we have learned to brew great beer. We are very proud of that. We just need to change how we allow people to buy it.
We are going to offer our beer for sale in kegs, bottles to local restaurants, and we are even exploring the idea of private labeling. That means, you will be able to order high quality craft beer with in bottles with your organizations logo and messaging on it!
Believe it or not, we are excited about this change. And as you might expect, we are going to be making a lot of changes, and we would love to keep you updated as we move forward. So stay tuned.
In the meantime, if you want to get in to the Tap Room before we officially close the doors, the time is now! We are open this weekend and next. We have several great beers on tap. We even have a new Watermelon Wheat this weekend!
Once again, we will be open at 115 S 6th Street this weekend and next…and our last day will be August 11.
The fact is, any time you start a new business, it's a risk. I am very proud of what we have created...so far. I am also excited about what will come next.
