"What do you want to make?"
"I want to make a difference."
Any person that has ever started a business wants to make money. Of course. That's what pays the rent, keeps the lights on and helps keep employees happy. We want to make money. Heck, we need to make money.
But we love to make a difference.
At Hasseman Brewing, we are passionate about making great craft beer and having fun. But we also want to have a positive impact on the Coshocton community...and the world. We will be continually on the lookout for projects where we can "give back."
We want to be "Beer For Good."
We would like to think this has already started. Last week, the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce awarded us with a Community Improvement Award. The presenter pointed out that we had taken a building that had been run down, and we had invested in it. We are extremely proud of that. But we hope it's just the beginning.
Moving forward, Beer For Good will manifest itself in different events around the Tap Room where we donate proceeds to local charities. We want to create a fun environment where we can do good things at the same time.
So what is our first step?
That "Beer For Good" concept is why we are so excited to partner with Jillians Salon and Seedership to donate Care Packages to our Military this holiday season! From now until December 23rd, you can drop off food, toiletries, first aid and more (see the graphic for suggestions) at Jillian's Salon and Hasseman Brewing.
Then, on December 27th, we will host a packing party to put together the goodies to send out. We want to invite you to be a part of this initiative to spread joy and kindness to our troops! So please take this chance to donate. Help us to make a difference and use "Beer For Good."
