One thing I can say for sure after 3 weekends at Hasseman Brewing. We are learning a lot...and that is exciting.
As some of you know, we have started with a small batch system, very much on purpose. We wanted to try and learn and iterate. We wanted to make sure we could make beer. We wanted to make sure people wanted to drink it. And we wanted to do a lot of this without too much soul-crushing debt! :) So far the journey has not been perfect, but we are definitely learning.
Hopefully we are having a little fun too.
For example, today Robbie and I are working on a new brew. The Three Rivers Pumpkin Ale should be coming soon...and we are excited to share that one. We hope this will be a fun and flavorful fall beer. And yes, if you are looking, I am scooping out that pumpkin with a little tiny spoon. Super efficient! Don't worry though, we only used 10 lbs!
But that's not all that is happening at Hasseman Brewing. Here are a few more updates!
Food Trucks Baby: Wow. The Food Trucks we have had in front of the Tap Room have been incredible. If you want to come and visit us (and we hope you do) please bring a big appetite! We have had the Three Lil Piggies, Road Hog Willys and McCoys BBQ! We have McCoy's coming back this Friday so I hope you will come back and have dinner here! The food has been amazing!
New SWAG: People have really enjoyed our t-shirts (they are soft like kittens), hats and growlers at the Tap Room for sure. We will be getting some more in soon. In addition, we have been getting requests for stickers, pints glasses and more. If you have any suggestions or requests, let us know!
Coshocton Strong: A final thought here. Some really good things are coming to Coshocton. The Wooly Pig Farm Brewery, The Killbuck Distillery, The Good Boy Bakery and a bunch of other new businesses have recently opened in our community. That's a sign of entrepreneurs investing here.
In addition, we have a great base of businesses here. Kraft/Heinz, McWane Ductile, Annin Flag and so many more businesses have been here for years. Oh...and have we mentioned the Wineries, Small Businesses and other organizations as well? We have a great community...one we are very proud of. Let's make sure that those of us from Coshocton County are telling THAT story.
Until next time! Cheers!
